Auckland attracts many highly qualified migrants each year while employers remain hard pressed to secure the talent they need.....
...OMEGA is a new, solution and action-oriented coalition of interests, dedicated solely to finding, growing, and implementing high impact strategies and approaches to create a movement of change in employing skilled migrants across greater Auckland.
OMEGA is currently a project hosted by the Committee for Auckland and supported by the Tindall Foundation, and will have its own governance group.
Pohlen Kean have been involved in helping the Committee for Auckland find and appoint the Programme Director for OMEGA and along with some other key New Zealand businesses are keen supporters of this initiative.
OMEGA launched in March 2008 with programmes to make a tangible difference to integrating international skills where they are needed in Auckland's labour market, for the city to flourish.
